Notice that I did not entitle this "Bird Day." It was almost going to be Bird Day, but I decided that I would include bats, and unless I am very much mistaken, bats are not birds!
yeah, that's an emu. I think the emu, the bats, and the first bird are Australian, but I'm not so sure about the red one--I think I might have seen him at the Melbourne Zoo. Sadly it wasn't in the wild--if you look closely you can see the unfocused cage I was peering through.

Are those all from Australia? And is the bottom one an emu? They're all fantastic, wherever and whatever they are! :)
